Armen Kaloyan
In 1994 graduated from the theatrical department of the Kharkiv National University of Arts named after I.P.Kotlyarevskiy with the specialization “Actor of drama and cinema”, in 2007 received the diploma of the director of drama theatre. In 1986 graduated from Kharkiv Special Musical Secondary School on the class of violoncello, practiced in martial arts and various dance styles.
Performed as the actor of the Kyiv Academic Youth Theatre and the Theatre “Bravo”, as well as the Kharkiv Theatre “Arabesque” with numerous tours in many countries of the world. Gives lectures in the Kharkiv National University of Arts on stage movement, fencing, acting techniques, opera class. Docent of the department of opera training, director of the opera studio, since 2016 – the Chief Stage Director of the Kharkiv National Opera and Ballet Theatre named after M.V.Lysenko. Performed the staging of the following operas: “Don Giovanni” by W.Mozart, “Cavalleria rusticana” by P.Mascagni, “Bestiary” by A.Schetinsky, “Rita” by G.Donizetti, “La Cambiale de Matrimonio” by G.Rossini, “Othello” by G.Verdi, “Carmen” by G.Bizet.
