Graduate of the Academy of Arts, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E.Repin (Saint-Petersburg).

Worked in the Dnipropetrovsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, however her main creative achievements in the sphere of modern choreography over the last decade are connected with her work in the Kharkiv National Opera and Ballet Theatre named after M.V.Lysenko.

Created impressive and picturesque solutions in the design of the operas “Turandot” and “Chi-Chio-San” by G.Puccini, “Eugene Onegin” by P.Tchaikovsky, “Aleko” by S.Rakhmaninov, “Traviata” by G.Verdi, “Carmen” by G.Bizet and the ballets “The Rite of Spring” and “Petrushka” by I.Stravinsky.

N.Shvets is regularly invited for cooperation with the National Opera of Ukraine and other leading theatres of the country as the outstanding creator of theatre costumes.
