MorozovDmytro Morozov

    Graduate of the Kharkiv Musical School on the class of O.B.Linkov (1995), graduate of the National University of Arts named after I.Kotlyarevskiy on the class of the same teacher with the specialization in “Chorus conducting” (1999). Perfected the conductor skills under the auspices of the Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR E.Svetlanov (Moscow, Russia) and the Italian maestro Luigi Chelegina.
Received the assistantship training in the National Musical Academy named after P.Tchaikovsky in Kyiv (class of professor V.B.Gnedash) in 2005. Worked in the Dnipropetrovsk Hall of Organ and Chamber Music, in the Dnipropetrovsk Conservatoire, where he staged the opera “Orpheus” by C.Monteverdi (national premiere). In 2002-2010 – conductor of the Kharkiv National Opera and Ballet Theatre named after M.V.Lysenko. Conductor and director of opera performances, including the music of modern authors: “Reaping of sorrow” (dedicated to the victims of famine) by E.Stankovych (national premiere), “Letters of love” by V.Gubarenko, as well as “The Marriage” by M.Mussorgsky.
Besides, he is the conductor of the following performance of the theatre repertoire: “Aida”, “Traviata”, “Il Trovatore” by G.Verdi, “Pagliacci” by R.Leoncavallo, “Floria Tosca” by G.Puccini, “Aleko” by S.Rachmaninov, “The Queen of Spades”, “Eugene Onegin”, “Swan Lake” by P.Tchaikovsky, “Prince Igor” by O.Borodin and others.
In 2010-2011 worked on the position of the conductor of the Voronezh Opera Theatre (Russian Federation). In 2013-2014 – Art Director of this theatre.
In 2011-2014 – Chief Conductor if the National Theatre of Operetta (Kyiv), where he staged the following performances: “Kiss me, Kate” by K.Porter, “Der Zigeunerbaron” by J.Strauss, conducted in many performances and organized the concerts of symphonic music. Besides, he is the founder of the Festival “Open Air” held in 2012-2014 in Bucha, Kyiv Region.
Worked under contract as the guest conductor in the Cairo National Opera (Egypt).
Over the last decade he has been cooperating with the Youth Symphonic Orchestra of the Kharkiv National University of Arts named after I.Kotlyarevskiy, where he founded the Festival “Pearls of World Symphonic Classical Music” and in 2008 performed the world premiere of “Requiem” by A.Salieri, which was recognized as the best performance of this masterpiece in 2015. Currently, he is the Chief Conductor of the Youth Symphonic Orchestra.
Since September 2015 he is the conductor of the Kharkiv National Opera and Ballet Theatre named after M.V.Lysenko. Performed the staging of the ballet “The Snow Queen” by O.Shymko.
